Designing for an icon like Leo requires a bit of restraint as he gravitates toward a subtle approach rather than overt artwork. This made storytelling through CMF critical to every detail. I also developed the “START EARLY, STAY LATE” tagline, which grounded the collection in a mindset that reflects his discipline and longevity. This collaboration was especially meaningful to me. Being from Miami and witnessing his chapter at Inter Miami made the project feel like a true full circle moment both personally and professionally. Having the opportunity to present each design review in our shared native language added another layer of significance, creating a true personal connection within a global partnership. <img Each of them represented his identity while maintaining broad consumer appeal. It was important that the product felt authentically him.&nbsp; We ultimately pursued a licensing partnership with MultiCam, his favorite camouflage brand. Pairing Stanley‘s oldest finish Hammertone and Multicam was a story of longevity with a cultural pioneer like Posty driving the collab forward. With the Quencher at peak demand, I elevated the execution by designing a Quencher wrap that was inspired by his country cowboy aesthetic. I also designed custom charms to compliment the wrap, transforming the product into a collectible experience and giving fans a memorable touchpoint beyond the Quencher itself. This collaboration featured the most complex CMF applications ever executed on hardgoods, pushing the boundaries of traditional manufacturing. Seeing the project’s cultural impact firsthand at the New York City activation with lines wrapping around the block - was a career highlight. The technical execution required extensive sampling to achieve a unique sense of dimension. I worked closely with my developer to produce an innovative translucent shimmer gradient that was layered over a bronze PVD finish, allowing the Stanley brand identity to sit as a foundational layer beneath the tiger stripes.
