Being part of the 2023 PLC x New Balance 4-week in-person masterclass was a true honor. During this immersive experience, I collaborated with a team of six to design a performance reimagined collection for the female basketball player of 2030.
As the color and materials designer, I dove deep into the world of colors and materials to paint a vivid picture of our consumer. Through the curation of both palettes it was my goal to represent the sport within seasons and heritage. I aimed to enhance the storytelling through purposeful graphic patterns on both footwear and apparel, capturing the essence of our consumer's playstyle / motion on the court.
The collaborative effort of my team came to life in a cohesive collection of products, making this opportunity an incredible and fulfilling experience.
